Four years ago, I completely burnt out. Everything I'd worked for was slipping away.
I'm the son of Vietnamese immigrants, uncle to over 20 nieces and nephews. In my family, I'm the one they look up to. The role model. The success story.
My ambitions led me to Microsoft, where I became a top performer—recognized for my work on allyship, leading global initiatives, speaking to executives worldwide. Then burnout hit after a car accident in 2019. I could feel it happening: I went from being the person everyone wanted on their team to someone people avoided because of my stress.
I refused to accept that stress would always win. I became a certified coach, studied neuroscience, and discovered the difference between stress management and stress resiliency.
Today, I help high-achieving professionals at companies like Microsoft, Amazon, and Dell build the capacity to achieve extraordinary things without burning out.
