My story.
Four years ago, I completely burnt out. Everything I'd worked for was slipping away.
I'm Dat Tran. The son of working class Vietnamese immigrants and uncle to over 20 nieces and nephews. In my family, I'm the one they look up to. The role model. The success story.
My ambitions led me to Microsoft, where I became a top performer—recognized for my work on allyship, leading global initiatives, speaking to executives worldwide. Then burnout hit. I could feel it happening: I went from being the person everyone wanted on their team to someone people avoided because of my stress.
I refused to accept that stress would always win. I became a certified coach, studied neuroscience, and discovered the difference between stress management and stress resiliency.
My mission is simple: To help you achieve more while stressing less—not by doing less, but by building the capacity to handle more.
What led me here?
The turning point came when I realized I'd been approaching stress all wrong.
For years, I tried to reduce my stress—meditating more, setting boundaries, practicing self-care. But with big ambitions, you can't reduce stress. Life will always replace it with bigger challenges.
The real question isn't "How do I reduce stress?" It's "How do I build the capacity to handle more stress while feeling better?"
I spent years studying neuroscience, experimenting with every stress practice I could find, and building a system that actually works. Within a year, I went from burnout to leading my best work at Microsoft. Then I left my corporate career to help others do the same.
Today, I teach the 5 skills of stress resiliency—Stress Magic, Strengthen, Stretch, Soothe, and Release—through 1:1 coaching, group programs, and keynote speaking.
Because every person is extraordinary. You just need to release the tension blocking you from accessing it.
